C122 – C222 Spring 2025 Character Development Through Make-up and Hairstyling Design Guest Speaker & Workshop Series Hosting Professor: Samantha Anne Wiener This 10-week class will examine the importance of make-up and hair design in a performance featuring guest specialists and a series of styling workshops lead by Samantha Wiener. Each guest hair and makeup specialist will spotlight their career in interpreting characters’ looks from the neck up for theater, film, and television. Along with the guest lectures, there will be multiple workshops with hands-on historic hairstyling, wigmaking, and the practice of theatrical makeup application.
